QFamily is a support service for LGBTIQA+ people and their families. We provide resources, information, and connection for people at every stage of family life, from young people finding their way, to parents raising queer kids, to adults navigating relationships and identity.
Drummond Street Services has been doing LGBTIQA+ specialist work within mainstream family relationship and parenting support services for many years. QFamily brings together specialist LGBTIQA+ work in areas like perinatal and transition to parenthood support, work with families with intensive parenting-focussed case management needs, and family relationship support that have been happening across different parts of the organisation.
This bringing together aims to provide a more streamlined journey for individuals and families seeking to access support, and to provide opportunities for skills and knowledge sharing and a more richly collaborative environment for staff to promote continuous improvement of our programs.

Adults
For LGBTIQA+ adults at any stage of life wanting support in navigating relationships with family, community, friends and loved ones.
QFamily is built on the belief that all families deserve to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Our approach is affirming, evidence-informed, and grounded in the real experiences of LGBTIQA+ communities across Australia.
We also recognise that LGBTIQA+ individuals and families often experience challenges in moving through a world that asks us to fit into boxes, and specialist support with that awareness is often helpful.
